OUR TEAM

Susan Philbrick, President

Susan founded Philbrick Transcriptions, Inc. in 1985.  Over the past 21 years, the company has grown steadily from a single transcriptionist to a company today with over 50 MT’s.  Susan understands the importance of quality transcription for our client, and that quality is assured by our accurate, professional, and dedicated transcriptionists.  Many of the original transcriptionists who started with her first accounts continue to work for Philbrick.  Today, those same MT’s have become the foundation of the company. To Susan’s credit, Philbrick Transcriptions, Inc. has expanded by word-of-mouth beyond the local communities of Connecticut to a client base as far as Chicago, Illinois.

Jody Rowley, Chief Operating Officer

Jody joined Philbrick Transcriptions, Inc., in 1993.  She brought with her several years of experience in the legal healthcare field.  She has grown with Philbrick over the years from managing MT’s, and Clinic and Physician Offices Administrator, to her current position of Chief Operating Officer.  She was also appointed to the Board of Directors in 2006.  Jody is dedicated to customer satisfaction and insists that each client receive personal attention.  She has been described as focused, dedicated and sincere.  Jody has infused Philbrick with energetic leadership and vision over the years.

Ruth Natzel, Quality Assurance Manager

Ruth has 26 years of experience in the medical transcription industry. She has worked in various hospitals and private offices in positions ranging from medical transcriptionist to office manager and department supervisor.  She has been employed by Philbrick Transcriptions, Inc. since 1991.  Coinciding with the company’s growth, she has held the position of Quality Assurance Manager over the last several years.  Ruth is committed to training new transcriptionists to meet and exceed medical transcription standards, and to keeping our veteran transcriptionists up-to-date with the latest trends in the field in order to deliver documents of the highest quality and clarity to our clients.

Angela Laferriere, Administrative Assistant

 

Angela has worked in the medical/veterinary field since 2001, and has now joined our office staff.  She performs various office duties, and oversees the processing of payments to our large staff of MT’s in a consistent and timely manner.  She also works closely with our MT team to develop and maintain the consistency of our on-call schedules.  She is extremely organized and dedicated, and has become a very important member of the Philbrick team.
